Well, to start Peru was one of 54 states to support a UN resolution against discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in December of 2006. With this type of government support, visible gay life has begun to sprout around the country.

Miraflores is the gay district, located by the beach and we recommend to stay here and enjoy all the gays bars around this district.

While Cuzco has a quaint gay life, Lima is definitely the gay Peruvian hub with quite a few gay bars and very welcoming hotels and B&B's.
